BETA SITOSTEROL

Beta Sitosterol is a plant sterol found in almost all plants.  It blocks cholesterol absorption resulting in lower serum cholesterol levels.  It has shown to improve lipid-protein (HDL, LDL) profiles.  It has been used to treat prostate problems like benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) and help increase urine flow.  It may reduce the growth of prostate and colon cancer cells.  It may help normalize blood sugar and insulin levels in Type II diabetics.  Beta Sitosterol can help prevent temporary immune weakness that typically occurs during recovery from endurance exercise.
